Knowing the power of networking and contributing to one’s community, Laurie is a member of the Business Women’s Networking Association (BWNA) – Upper York Chapter, Women In Networking Growing Strong (WINGS), and a member of Women for Women and Master Mentors. She has also been involved with organizing and supporting events and fundraisers for such charities as the CNIB, and her children’s schools.

In her role at Master Mentors and as Chair of the York Region Chapter of Company of Women, Laurie frequently mentors new arrivals to the areas and women who are looking to build their businesses or transition back into the workforce. With her diverse background and wisdom, she is sought after as a host for networking events and a speaker at events.
